Terms of Use
These terms cover how Villages may be used, who is responsible for what, and what happens to a community's records.
Using Villages
Villages is for organizing a purpose-centered community. Use it for that. Do not use it to harass anyone, to share material you have no right to share, to reach people who have not agreed to hear from you, or to get at information you were not given access to.
Keep your account to yourself. If you are given a role that lets you act for others, use it for the community's work and nothing else.
Invitation links
An invitation link is meant for the person it was sent to. Passing it on gives someone else the access it carries. The person who sent it can turn it off at any time.
A community's records
The organization that runs a community owns the records that community creates — rosters, events, forms, files, and history. Villages holds them on that organization's behalf so they outlive whoever happens to be organizing this season.
You keep whatever rights you already had in the material you upload, and you give the community permission to use it for running the community.
Cue
Cue drafts and suggests. It can be wrong. Check what it prepares before you approve it — the approval, and the responsibility for it, are yours.
Availability and changes
Villages is provided as it is, and may change as the product develops. Access may be suspended where these terms are broken or where someone's safety is at stake.
When these terms change in a way that matters, the change will be visible here before it takes effect.
Questions about these terms, or about a specific community, go to the organization that invited you. See also Privacy.
